How the launch date calculator finds the best date to start a business

The launch date calculator takes a founder's date of birth and a month, scores every date in that month out of 100 and ranks them. A date whose number is adverse to the founder's birth number or destiny number is struck out rather than scored low. The three highest come back with their reasons, followed by a calendar tinted by score and the full ranking.

• Founder's date of birth — required. Every rule is read against it.
• Month and year — the form opens on next month; the year list runs from 2025 to 2032.
• Business name — optional. Adds a name-resonance check, valued in Chaldean unless another letter system is chosen.
• Industry — optional. Only media, content and entertainment change the scoring.
• Strict mode — off by default. Blocks every date numbered 2, 4 or 8.

How a business opening date is scored, step by step

Each date carries a date number, the day of the month reduced (the 23rd is quoted 23/5), and a full-date total of every digit of day, month and year.

1. The general tiers

A date on the founder's own birth number scores highest, then one friendly to it; the tiers decide the rest.

2. The hard blocks

A date is blocked when its number is adverse to the birth number or to the destiny number, or when the date number and the full-date total are both 4, the pattern the method reads as the most difficult for an establishment date. The next is 4 July 2027 (date number 4, total 22/4), blocked even for the founder below, whose numbers do not count 4 as adverse. Strict mode adds the general avoid list. A blocked date is capped low and never recommended.

3. The weekday and its planet

The founder's own weekday scores highest and an adverse planet costs points. No weekday carries 4 (Rahu) or 7 (Ketu), so those birth numbers can gain from a friendly weekday but never from their own.

4. Personal year, month and name

The birth day and month carried onto the candidate's year give the personal year, read on its own strength and then against the birth number; the timing dashboard lays those years out. Where the month, the universal year and the birth number are all mutually adverse, the month is marked down. A business name adds points for a date or launch year matching the name number, and for dates in the launch set of 1, 3, 5 or 6. Media businesses gain on a full-date total of 3, 6 or 9.

5. The weights

The rules are the source material's. The weights are the site's own, because the material never states one:

A part with no rule behind it is dropped and its weight shared out: the yearly window exists only for birth numbers 2, 7 and 8, and name resonance only when a name is entered.

A worked example, ranked live for November 2026

Take an invented founder born on 5 November 1988. The birth number (mulank, or driver) comes from the day alone: 5. The destiny number (bhagyank, or conductor) comes from every digit of the date: 33/6. Birth number 5 counts no number as adverse, but destiny number 6 counts 3 and 9 as adverse, so the 3rd, 9th, 12th, 18th, 21st, 27th and 30th are all blocked for this founder. The general tiers count 3 and 9 as positive; the personal block wins.

For November 2026 the calculator scores 30 dates and blocks 7. All of them sit in personal year 17/8, labelled Return, which moves the whole month together, so the order comes from the date number and the weekday.

The table is recomputed on every page load and belongs to one date of birth. Another founder's blocks and personal year differ, and so does the list, which is why the calculator asks for a date of birth rather than publishing one calendar for everyone. Does the business registration date matter in numerology?

In this tradition it does. The source material treats the date a business is established like a date of birth, giving the company its own birth and destiny numbers, and checks it after the name and the founders' own dates.

What it does not settle is which date that is. Registration, a shop's opening day and a public launch are all named, and no source calls one of them the company's real birthday. So the calculator does not ask; it scores whatever date is under consideration against the founder's chart.

Where sources disagree, and the rule this calculator applies

• A universal avoid list or the personal chart? Two strands put 2, 4 and 8 on an avoid list for everyone; others hold that a personal chart overrides any generic list. The calculator makes the chart primary and keeps the universal list as strict mode.
• Own-number dates. Some strands call a number's own dates its best. The friendship matrix reads 4 and 8 as adverse to themselves, so those founders have their own-number dates blocked.
• One number or two? Some accounts check a date against the birth number only. The calculator applies the stricter form: both numbers must clear it.
• When the personal year turns over. 1 January, the birthday and the lunar new year are all argued for. The calculator uses the calendar year.
• Muhurat. One strand reads a date on the founder's own number as a workable stand-in where no muhurat is taken, and the calculator ranks such dates highly. It computes no tithi, nakshatra or Rahu kaal, and the source material treats a panchang muhurat as a separate check.

What if the launch date conflicts with unfavourable numerology?

Fixed dates are common: a lease, a registrar's queue, a festival season. A blocked date is shown with the rule that blocked it, not hidden. When every date in a month is blocked for a chart, the three that rank highest are labelled the least weak rather than good, and the next month is one click away. A fixed date and a movable one, such as a registration and a public opening, can be ranked separately.

• It predicts nothing. A score describes how a date reads in this tradition. It does not forecast sales, footfall or the fate of a company.
• Numerology has no scientific standing, as the site's disclaimer says, and that applies to every date on this page.
• It is not advice. Legal deadlines, finance and staffing come first. A date the business can meet is worth more than a better-scoring one it cannot.
