Business Numerology Score
The business numerology score calculator combines six separately read dimensions — founder fit, name, industry, timing, partners and assets — into one score for the whole business. Only the dimensions you supply inputs for count towards the total.
What the business numerology score calculator measures
The business numerology score calculator gives a whole business one score out of 100. It scores six dimensions from 0 to 100 each: founder compatibility, name strength, industry alignment, timing, partnership and domain & phone. It then combines them by fixed weights. A dimension with no input is left out and its weight is shared among the rest, so a blank field never counts as a weak one.
Two fields are required: the business name and the founder's date of birth. Everything else is optional and adds a dimension or sharpens one: a brand name, the industry, a launch date, a website, a business phone number, the unit, floor and building numbers of the premises, and up to five co-founders with their dates of birth. The founder's full name, sex and the incorporation date add workings to the result as well. The letter system can be switched from Chaldean to Pythagorean under methodology options.
The six dimensions and their weights
These weights come straight from the calculator:
| Dimension | Weight | What it needs |
|---|---|---|
| Founder compatibility | 26 of 100 | Add the founder's date of birth and the business name. |
| Name strength | 24 of 100 | Add the business or brand name. |
| Industry alignment | 16 of 100 | Choose the industry the business trades in. |
| Timing | 14 of 100 | Add the founder's date of birth, and a launch date if you have one in mind. |
| Partnership | 10 of 100 | Add at least one co-founder with their date of birth. |
| Domain & phone | 10 of 100 | Add a domain, a business phone number, or the office or shop number. |
Several dimensions reuse a reading from a single-purpose calculator. Founder compatibility is the check of the name against the founder's birth and destiny numbers from the founder compatibility calculator. Industry alignment is the sector reading from the industry compatibility checker. Partnership reads the founder together with every co-founder. Domain & phone averages whichever of the website, the phone line and the premises number were entered.
Founder compatibility and name strength together carry 50 of the 100 points. No source gives a formula for combining the dimensions; the weights turn the source material's priorities into numbers, and the methodology page explains that judgement openly.
How the business numerology score is calculated
- Every dimension that has its inputs is scored from 0 to 100 by its own rules.
- The overall is the weighted average of those scores. Each score is multiplied by its weight, the results are added, and the total is divided by the weights actually used rather than by 100.
- Completeness is the share of the 100 points that could be used, shown as a percentage beside the score.
- The band follows the overall: Excellent from 85, Strong from 70, Moderate from 55, Weak from 40 and Poor below that.
Two rules decide which name and which date are read. When a brand name is entered, it is scored in place of the registered name. When no launch date is given, timing is read from the founder's current personal year instead of from a date.
Worked example: one business scored across all six dimensions
An invented property services firm: registered as Harbour Lane Studio Pvt Ltd, trading as Harbour Lane, founded by someone born on 19 March 1987 with one co-founder, a planned launch on 10 February 2027, a website, a phone line with the fictitious 90000 prefix, and a unit and building number. The calculator returns:
| Dimension | Score | Verdict | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Founder compatibility | 100 | Excellent | 26 |
| Domain & phone | 92 | Excellent | 10 |
| Name strength | 88 | Excellent | 24 |
| Timing | 83 | Strong | 14 |
| Partnership | 82 | Strong partnership | 10 |
| Industry alignment | 55 | Neutral | 16 |
The overall is 85, Excellent, at 100% completeness. (100 × 26 + 92 × 10 + 88 × 24 + 83 × 14 + 82 × 10 + 55 × 16) ÷ 100 = 84.94, which rounds to 85.
The registered name, Harbour Lane Studio Pvt Ltd, totals 64/1 once the suffix is stripped, but the brand name Harbour Lane totals 39/3, and the brand is the one scored: the source material holds that the name customers actually say is the one that reaches the market. The strongest dimension is founder compatibility; the weakest is industry alignment, and the result explains why: "The method makes no statement about 3 in real estate & property. That is an absence of comment rather than a negative — it favours 5, 8, 6 and 2 here."
With only the two required fields, the calculator can read founder compatibility, timing and name strength, which is 64% of the model. Industry alignment, partnership and domain & phone are left out and named in the completeness panel, together with the input each one needs.
Business numerology calculator or the full score: which to use
Each dimension has its own calculator, and each one shows more than the score can. The business name analyzer ranks several candidate names letter by letter; the founder and industry calculators give the full reasons behind their readings; the phone, domain and address calculators read every pair, extension and floor.
The score is the place to start when the business already exists, or when the name, founders and premises are all roughly settled and the question is where the numbers are weakest. The individual calculators are the place to start when one decision is still open, such as choosing between names or between two launch dates. The two work together: find the weakest dimension here, then open its calculator to see why.
How to read the business numerology score
- The headline. The overall score and band, a one-line summary, the strongest dimension and the dimension where the clearest gain is available.
- The dimensions. A meter for each dimension that could be read, with a sentence explaining its score and the weight it carries.
- How complete the reading is. The completeness percentage and, for each missing dimension, the weight left unused and the input that would bring it in.
- The workings. Expandable panels for the founder's numbers, the name analysis, the birth grid, the industry, timing, the partnership and the domain, phone and premises, each showing the workings behind that part of the reading.
Read the dimensions before the headline. Two businesses on the same overall can have very different profiles, and a single weak dimension, such as a sector the source material says nothing about, is easier to act on than an average.
Where this calculator runs out
The score is an ordinal summary under one documented tradition: a higher score is a better fit under this model, not a percentage chance of anything. Numerology has no scientific standing and no demonstrated predictive power, and the score cannot see the product, the customers, the finances or the team.
Use it to find which part of a business's numbers the method reads as weakest, then look at that part in its own calculator. A name, a partnership or a premises lease is a commercial and legal decision first; the reading is a reflective check that comes after the practical ones.
Frequently asked questions
How is the business numerology score calculated?
Each of the six dimensions that has its inputs is scored from 0 to 100, multiplied by its weight, and added up. The total is divided by the weights actually used, out of 100, so a missing dimension is left out rather than counted as zero. The result is placed in a band.
What is a good business numerology score?
The calculator bands scores as Excellent from 85, Strong from 70, Moderate from 55, Weak from 40 and Poor below that. Read the band together with the completeness figure and the individual dimensions, because a high overall built on few dimensions says less than the same score across all six.
Why is the score based on fewer than six dimensions?
Because a dimension is only scored when its inputs are present. With just the business name and a date of birth, industry alignment, partnership and domain & phone cannot be read, so their weight is shared among the dimensions that can. The completeness panel names each gap and the input that fills it.
Is the brand name or the registered company name scored?
The brand name, when one is entered. The source material holds that the name customers actually say is the one that reaches the market, so it replaces the registered name in the founder, name and industry readings. Legal suffixes such as Pvt Ltd are never counted.
Does leaving an optional field blank lower the score?
No. A blank field removes that dimension from the calculation and its weight is redistributed. The overall can still move up or down once the field is filled, because the new dimension may score above or below the average of the others.
Does the incorporation date change the business numerology score?
No. The incorporation date, the founder's full name and the founder's sex add workings to the result, such as the company's own date numbers, but they do not change the overall score or any of the dimensions.
Can a business numerology score predict whether a business will succeed?
No. The score measures fit under one documented tradition and is not a probability of any outcome. Numerology has no scientific standing. The score is useful for spotting which element of a business the method reads as weakest, not for forecasting results.
