What the personal year calculator shows

The business timing dashboard is a personal year calculator laid out for planning. Enter a founder's date of birth and it computes four years at once: the personal year number for each, the universal year it sits inside, the phase the method reads into that year, whether the year agrees with the founder's birth number, and a twelve-month strip tinted by personal month. Add the company's incorporation date and a third number appears for every year, the company year.

• Founder's date of birth — required. The personal years and months run from it.

Each year card carries what the year is suited to, what to hold back on, and the reading behind it, with any caution the source material attaches. How to calculate a personal year number for business, step by step

The dashboard uses the digit-sum method: every digit of the birth day, every digit of the birth month and every digit of the year being read.

Take an invented founder born on 27 March 1981, read for 2026:

1. Birth day 27: 2 + 7 = 9.
2. Birth month 3: a single digit, so 3.
3. The year 2026: 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10.
4. Add and reduce: 9 + 3 + 10 = 22, quoted as 22/4.

The personal month adds the calendar month to the unreduced total, not to the single digit. For October 2026, that is 22 + 10 = 32, quoted as 32/5. The core number calculator extends the same step to a personal day, flagged there because the source material never defines one.

A worked four-year outlook, from 2026

The same founder has birth number (mulank) 27/9 and destiny number (bhagyank) 31/4. With an invented company incorporated on 17 October 2019, the dashboard prints:

The personal years count up one at a time and start again after 9, which is the nine-year cycle the method reads. The birth-number column is the second step of the reading: first whether the year has strength of its own, then how it sits with the birth number. Where the two disagree, as they do for 2026 and 2028 here, the instruction in the source material is the same each time: wait, take no important decisions, make no fresh investment. That is a hold on timing, not a forecast of loss.

The company year number

The source material treats a company's incorporation date the way it treats a date of birth. The invented company above, incorporated on 17 October 2019, has birth number 17/8 from the day and destiny number 21/3 from every digit of the date, worked exactly as a person's would be.

The dashboard goes one step further and carries the incorporation day and month onto each calendar year, the same way it carries a founder's: 17 October carried onto 2026 gives a company year of 19/1, labelled Beginning. That step needs a caveat. The source material works out a company's birth and destiny numbers from its incorporation date, but never runs a personal-year calculation on a company. The company year is this site's extension of the same rule, not a reading the material gives.

It is most useful read beside the founder's year rather than instead of it. When the two point different ways the source material offers no tie-break, so the dashboard shows both and ranks neither. Universal year 2026 in numerology

The universal year is every digit of the calendar year and nothing else: 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10, quoted as 10/1. Everyone alive shares it, which is exactly why the method does not read it as personal. The source material calls it a background to the year; the personal year laid over it is what the reading for an individual rests on.

One wrinkle shows inside this four-year window. 2027 adds to 11, and the dashboard keeps it as 11, a master number, rather than reducing it to 2. Personal years are always reduced to a single digit, so a master number only ever appears in the universal column.

A universal year matters most when a date is being chosen inside it: the launch date finder marks down a month in which the month number, the universal year and the founder's birth number are all mutually adverse. Where sources disagree, and what the dashboard applies

• Which formula. The digit-sum method and the two-digit method (birth month and day kept whole, year reduced) always agree on the digit but not the compound: for this founder in 2026 they give 22/4 and 40/4. The dashboard uses the digit sum throughout and never mixes them, because the personal month is built on the compound.
• When the year turns over. 1 January, the birthday, the lunar new year and a rolling changeover of several months are all argued for. The dashboard uses the calendar year, the boundary most of the material's worked examples use.
• Whether 4 and 8 are good years. The source material lists 1, 4, 5, 6 and 8 as giving years, and elsewhere calls 4 the obstacle year and 8 the tension year. The dashboard prints both readings on a 4 or an 8 and drops neither.
• What a 7 is. One strand reads it as a quiet year for study and repositioning, another as a year that removes what is not working. The dashboard records the split rather than resolving it.
• How much months matter. Some accounts call personal months minor; others plan around them. The strip is there to be read, not obeyed.

Where the timing dashboard runs out

• It forecasts nothing. A phase label describes how the method reads a year. It does not say what will happen to a business in it, and a strong year is not a promise of a good one.
• Numerology has no scientific standing. The site's disclaimer applies to every year on the dashboard.
• It is not financial advice. Borrowing, hiring, raising money and closing a line of business are decisions for the accounts and the market first. Where the method counsels waiting, that can inform when to revisit a decision; it cannot make the decision.
